What are Creative Skill Camps
Creative skill camps were set up by the International Street Soccer Association (ISSA) to raise the level of skilful players in USA. Street soccer training is a fantastic way to develop creativity and skill in players as it encourages young people to express themselves and in turn helps them to master the ball and most of all its great fun.
This action packed camp will see players learn the principals of what makes great players i.e, taking responsibility, having a positive attitude etc and then builds upon this by encouraging the players to discover new moves. Coaching is provided by the ISSA and only the leading street soccer coaches/demonstrators are selected for camp.
New additions for 2010 Summer Soccer Camps
Street Soccer 3v3 Arenas
2010 will see the introduction of 3v3 inflatable street soccer arenas. These bespoke pitches will have angled corners to keep the ball in play and have been specifically designed for optimum 3v3 play. Each camp will have 2 arenas, a dj tent and pop up goals, with music pumping and the sun shining, Creative Skills Camps 2010 is going to be a summer soccer camp not to be missed!
n.b Excluding California and Hawaii
Campers personal development handbook
The ISSA coaching methodology is all about creating great people as well as great players. Each of the camp days will follow a personal development theme, "Taking Responsibility", "Making Positive Choices" etc The handbook will guide players through these themes as well as giving the player access to online skills videos where players can learn some of the most up to date modern skills of the game. The player will be encouraged to set goals and monitor their performance throughout the camp and gauge any performance gains in their attitude, desire and talent.
A typical day at Creative Skill Camps
The exact itinerary for the Creative Skill Camps are strictly under lock and key! But to give you an idea of a typical day we have included a example itinerary.
